Over Tonko Oosterink
Biografie
Tonko Oosterink (1970) heeft een professionele werkachtergrond als bouwkundig ingenieur. Tonko is eind tachtiger jaren in het analoge tijdperk geraakt door het fotografie virus en als autodidact begonnen in de fotografie. Ten tijde van de introductie van de eerste digitale camera’s is hij gestopt met de fotografie onder het mom van “nu kan iedereen fotograferen”. Realiserend dat deze vooronderstelling niet op waarheid berust heeft hij rond 2010 wederom de oude passie opgepakt. In de periode 2010-2016 gevolgd door diverse cursussen op het gebied van beeldbewerking. Om de fototechnische kennis en creatieve vaardigheden nog verder te ontwikkelen heeft hij eind 2016 besloten de opleiding tot vakfotograaf aan de Fotovakschool te Apeldoorn te gaan volgen. Op 9 februari 2019 afgerond met het behalen van een diploma vakfotografie.
Specialiteit van Tonko is illustratieve objectfotografie.
Visie
Illustratieve objectfotografie biedt oneindige creatieve mogelijkheden om mensen aan het denken te zetten. Soms is de boodschap zwaar en beladen, meestal grappig en ongecompliceerd. Dit soort beelden worden door Tonko onder andere ingezet in de stockfoto branche. De foto’s worden via gerenommeerde nationale en internationale stockfoto bureaus, zoals Shutterstock, Dreamstime en Werk aan de Muur, als intermediair tussen fotograaf en eindgebruikers, verkocht aan onder andere de reclamewereld en particulieren. De insteek is foto’s eenvoudig en krachtig te houden onder het motto “Eenvoud is de kracht van het ware”.

Biography
Tonko Oosterink (1970) has a professional background as a building engineer. Tonko is end 1980s in the analog era hit by the photography virus and started as an autodidact in photography. At the time of the introduction of the first digital cameras he has stopped photographing under the guise of "now anyone can photograph". Realizing that this premise is not true he has picked up the old passion again around 2010. In the period 2010-2016 followed by various courses in the field of Imaging.

He graduated on 9 February 2019. Tonko's specialty is illustrative object photography.
Vision
Illustrative object photography offers infinite creative possibilities to challenge people to think. Sometimes the message is heavy, usually funny and straight forward. This kind of images are submitted by Tonko used in the stock photo industry. The photos are renowned by national and international stock photo agencies like Shutterstock, Dreamstime and Werk aan de Muur, as an intermediary between photographer and sold to companies and individuals.
The approach is simple and powerful under the motto
"simplicity is the strength of the true".

Tonko is lid van het vakfotografen collectief FotoTaal, waarvoor de basis is gelegd tijdens de afstudeerexpositie van de Fotovakschool in ArtStudio 28 te Apeldoorn.
FotoTaal is vakinhoudelijk breed georiënteerd en dekt nagenoeg alle soorten fotografie, van illustratief tot portret en van sport tot evenementen fotografie.
Tonko is a member of the professional collective FotoTaal, for which the basis is laid in the graduation exhibition of photography in ArtStudio 28 in Apeldoorn. Fototaal is broad-based and covers almost all types of photography.
